Here you will find information on Fire Restrictions that affect Crystal Lakes and the surrounding areas.  Please keep in mind that restrictions instated by the Crystal Lakes Fire Protection District may be more restrictive than restrictions instated by the county or state.

FIRE RESTRICTIONS LIFTED

The Crystal Lakes Volunteer Fire Department has been advised that fire restrictions affecting our area have been lifted.

While this is welcome news, we remind everyone that fire safety is a year-round responsibility, especially in our mountain environment.

As you enjoy the outdoors this fall, please continue to:

• Keep recreational fires small, attended, and under control.
• Have water and a shovel readily available.
• Completely extinguish fires before leaving them unattended.
• Be mindful of wind conditions and surrounding dry vegetation.
• Follow all applicable fire pit requirements and community regulations.

Remember: The absence of fire restrictions does not eliminate wildfire risk. Conditions can change quickly, even during the cooler months.

Thank you for helping keep Crystal Lakes safe!
